Damocles, the original project by producer Ben Hopkins, has been in full effect now for 11 years. With over 20 releases, the prolific project never stops in one place, drifting continuously between myriad sub-genres of electronic music. It was in 2016 that Damocles heard the call of the Grizzly Neutron and was set forth as the prophet on Earth. Such established the division between the canon and non-canonical releases, with the former spanning the albums of Grizzly Neutron, Portable Sunset, Galaktikon, Void Heart, Twilight Strider, and Like Beasts.

As erratic, chaotic, and comprehensive as his mind, (the) Damocles creates easy listening music for people don’t listen very easily.
