Galaxy Magnolia was always bound to happen upon the concept of City of Animals. The discovery of and deep dive into post rock greatly formed CoA’s interpretation of what instrumental music can be outside of classical and electronic genres. The dynamic nature and cinematic vibes that come with the genre fit perfectly into the company’s vision. The debut release, “Pocket Vistas,” is on the more aggressive side of the genres, with minimal drone and plenty of throttle, low end, and overall energy.
